Thanks for the reference to my metformin observation. I'm still taking the metformin daily, and my reaction time is still faster than it was before I started. My new study, which I started yesterday (Jan. 1) is to test the effect of creatine supplementation. I did a creatine study in 2024 (results were inconclusive), but I think my dose of creatine was too low and the study had some design flaws. I'll let you know in a few months what I find out.
I’ve been trying creatine too, since August. 5g about 3x/week when I do resistance training. I’ve not noticed an effect one way or another, on weight/muscle/etc. FYI i’m taking Orgain creatine monohydrate.
